Supplementary Tests
Of In Service Lifts

The Safety Assessment Federation (SAFed) with the Health and Safety Executive formulated the lift Guidelines now recognised as The Supplementary Test Of In Service Lifts.

Periodic inspections based on the SAFed guidlines, along with a regular programme of preventative maintenance, will contribute to the safety and reliability of your lift. Eastern Lift Services recommends these are performed at intervals of one year, five years and ten years.

After each examination or test has been completed a certificate will be issued to the owner and must be kept for record purposes.
